OSF HealthCare, owned and operated by The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis, East Peoria, Illinois, includes OSF Healthcare System consisting of eleven acute care facilities, two colleges of nursing, and a physician network consisting of nearly 700 primary care, specialist physicians, and more than 300 advanced practice providers.

OSF HealthCare is a multi-state corporation, operating facilities in Illinois and Michigan, providing state-of-the-art, compassionate care to more than 2.5 million people in the communities we serve.

Hospitals & Medical Centers

OSF Saint Francis Medical Center
Since 1877, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center has fulfilled the Mission of our Sisters: to serve with the greatest care and love. In the years following, it has grown into the fourth largest medical center in the state of Illinois, with a medical staff of more than 800 physician and 616 patient beds. A major teaching affiliate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, OSF Saint Francis is the area’s only Level 1 Trauma Center and tertiary care medical center.
OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center
OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center is a 254-bed tertiary care facility located on a 100-acre campus near Interstate 90 and US Business 20 in Rockford, Illinois. It is a regional medical center known for providing pioneering care in our Level I Trauma Center, Cardiovascular Services, Center for Cancer Care, Illinois Neurological Institute and Women’s Center.
OSF St. Joseph Medical Center
Since 1880, OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, a 149-bed acute care facility and Level II Trauma Center, has provided comprehensive health care services to the Bloomington-Normal community. As part of OSF Healthcare System, OSF St. Joseph Medical Center staff strives to serve every patient, every time with the greatest care and love.
OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center
OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center, a 99-bed acute care facility formerly known as Ottawa Regional Hospital & Healthcare Center, has been dedicated to providing efficient and quality health care to the Ottawa community since 1895. OSF Saint Elizabeth provides a full range of services, including inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical care, emergency care, pre-natal and post-partum care, physical therapy, behavioral health services, home health and hospice care.
OSF St. Mary Medical Center
OSF St. Mary Medical Center, a 99-bed acute care hospital in Galesburg, Illinois, has been dedicated to providing the very best care for each and every patient and family member who chooses us for their care. OSF St. Mary has been a cornerstone of the Galesburg community since 1909.
OSF Saint James - John W. Albrecht Medical Center
OSF Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center is dedicated to providing the best care for every patient and family who chooses us. The medical center, located in Pontiac, Illinois, is a state-of-the-art, 42-bed health care facility, which was completed in 2002.
OSF St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group
OSF St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group, located in Escanaba, Michigan, is a rural, sole community provider hospital and the only Catholic hospital in the Upper Peninsula. It provides care for more than 55,000 patients and their families throughout Delta County and surrounding communities.
OSF Holy Family Medical Center
OSF Holy Family Medical Center, a part of OSF HealthCare, is a 23-bed acute/intermediate care, critical access hospital. It is located in the rural farming community of Monmouth, Illinois. OSF Holy Family provides a broad range of acute care and outpatient services including a variety of specialist, emergency, rehabilitation, and diagnostic imaging services.
Children's Hospital of Illinois
Children’s Hospital of Illinois is a 124-bed, full service pediatric hospital on the campus of OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. With more than 115 pediatric specialists representing more than 40 pediatric subspecialties, It is the major pediatric teaching facility of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. OSF Saint Luke Medical Center
OSF Saint Luke Medical Center is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Kewanee, Illinois. Since 1919, OSF Saint Luke has kept pace with many innovations in health care, including a new hospital that opened in 2008. We have a long history of "friends and neighbors taking care of friends and neighbors" while providing an excellent patient experience.
OSF Saint Anthony's Health Center
OSF Saint Anthony's has served in Alton for 90 years. Established by The Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George and sponsored by The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis. The 203-bed health center is home to advanced cancer, stroke and heart technology, nationally-certified rehabilitative services, advanced surgical services, the area's premier wound center and an emergency room where health care professionals are committed to treating patients immediately.
OSF Saint Paul Medical Center
OSF Saint Paul Medical Center is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Mendota, Illinois. Founded in 1951 as Mendota Community Hospital, OSF Saint Paul has faithfully cared for persons in Mendota and the surrounding communities. The current facility was newly built in 2011. We joined OSF HealthCare in 2015.

The many divisions of OSF Saint Francis, Inc. deliver a variety of high-quality, cost-effective services and care to communities located primarily throughout OSF HealthCare service areas in Illinois and Michigan. Through the efforts of its dedicated staff members, OSF Saint Francis, Inc. upholds the Mission and Values of The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis. OSF Home Care Services

OSF Home Care Services provides care throughout northern and central Illinois, as well as in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Our services include hospice, home health, home medical equipment, home infusion pharmacy, diabetes supplies, and personal response systems. OSF Home Care Services provides care solutions best suited to individual needs.

Illinois Neurological Institute (INI)
The Illinois Neurological Institute (INI) is a leader in the Midwest for clinical care, research, and education in neurological illness. The INI has provides comprehensive, multi-disciplinary, state-of-the-art care with compassion which make it the choice for neurological care in central Illinois.
Illinois Lung & Critical Care Institute
Illinois Lung & Critical Care Institute, is the region's premier provider of advanced treatment for critical care, pulmonary, and sleep medicine. They provide patients with the best in clinical practices and technology.

Colleges & Schools

Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing
For more than 100 years, Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing has graduated some of the nation's most compassionate and skilled nurse professionals. The college offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and post-graduate Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree programs. The College provides traditional and on-line learning opportunities. Located on the campus of OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois, the college achieves high graduation rates and low student-to-faculty ratios; places a priority on student financial aid; and provides quality clinical experiences in one of the nation's largest Catholic healthcare facilities.
Saint Anthony College of Nursing
Saint Anthony College of Nursing is an upper division college, offering a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), RN-to-BSN and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). The MSN program admits nurses with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or other fields. Students are encouraged to think creatively and become excellent decision makers so that graduates are prepared to face challenges in and out of the workplace. Since 1915, more than 2,700 of our graduates have joined the nursing profession.

Emergency Services

OSF Aviation

OSF Aviation consists of 14 pilots, seven mechanics and five communications technicians who fly and maintain the safety of the four American Eurocopter EC 145 helicopters used by OSF Lifeline in Rockford, Illinois and OSF Life Flight in Peoria, Illinois.

This team of physicians, nurses, pilots and mechanics averages 2,200 patient transfers each year, making it the busiest aeromedical operation unit in the state of Illinois.

OSF Aviation has its own Part 135 Certificate from the FAA.
